Danderhall Rainbows is a vibrant weekly club where young girls build confidence, make new friends and have fun through arts and crafts, games and outdoor adventures.

Meeting each week in Danderhall, the girls earn badges as they try new activities from creative projects and basic first aid to learning how to care for the environment.
Samantha Kirkland from Danderhall Rainbows said: “We’re a charity community group providing a fun and safe space for girls aged 4 to 7. The girls take part in a wide range of activities, learn new skills and, most importantly, spend valuable time with their friends. Arts and crafts are always a favourite, but our equipment had become quite dated, so the support from the Cameron Toll Community Fund will make a real difference and allow us to refresh everything.”
Claire Jefcoate, Centre Manager at Cameron Toll, added: “We know how important it is for young children to spend time with friends and express their creativity. That’s why we’re so pleased the Cameron Toll Community Fund has been able to support Danderhall Rainbows in updating their arts and crafts equipment.”
