Local Group is Dancing on Air
A local dance group is getting ready to represent Scotland at the Dance World Cup in Portugal with an added boost from the Cameron Toll Community Fund.
Morningside Dance Academy will join teams from 61 other countries at the massive event in Braga and will be participating in the solos, duets, trios, and group dance categories with their 27 members proudly wearing specially designed Team Scotland kit.
Claire Jefcoate, Centre Manager at Cameron Toll said: “It’s such an incredible opportunity for the young dancers from Morningside Dance Academy to represent Scotland at such a high level. To know that Team Scotland will include people that are local to Cameron Toll makes us very proud supporters of them all.”
Diane Scott, a volunteer fundraiser for Morningside Dance Academy added: “This is the ultimate experience for our young dancers and we are delighted and proud that they have been selected for this incredible opportunity, and to represent Scotland. The support from Cameron Toll’s Community Fund will go a long way to help make our team’s dreams come true.”
