The Niddrie House Neighbourhood Association works hard to provide local children with opportunities to have fun, learn new skills and spend time together in a safe and supportive environment, and this year is no different.

They run a regular weekend kids’ club, offering a mix of arts and crafts, games and access to computers to support learning and development. However, continuing these activities relies heavily on fundraising efforts, including bingo nights and community events.
The Association recently applied to the Cameron Toll Community Fund for support to help deliver its wide range of activities for local children and was successful.
Sandra McLintock, Chairperson of Niddrie House Neighbourhood Association, said: “We’re passionate about giving children in our community something to look forward to, whether that’s our summer fun day, Easter egg hunts, Halloween events or our weekly kids’ club. These activities give children the chance to have fun, be creative and spend time with their friends in a safe space, and the funding from the Cameron Toll Community Fund will help us continue to do just that.”
Claire Jefcoate, Centre Manager at Cameron Toll, added:“Niddrie is right on our doorstep, so we’re delighted to support the Niddrie House Neighbourhood Association through the Cameron Toll Community Fund. Spending time with friends and having fun is so important for young people, and the work the Association does to support local children is fantastic.”
