Edinburgh South Jaguars U12 Girls

With the growth in women’s and girls’ football, we were delighted to receive an application to our Community Fund from a new local team playing and associated to the successful Edinburgh South CFC organisation.

The Edinburgh South Jaguars is a recently formed under 12s girls team with local girls playing their football at Inch Park and forming close friendships and bonds along the way.  As well as enjoying playing their football the team is promoting girls football and bridging the inequality that girls who have a passion for football face.

Agne Celik from the Edinburgh South Jaguars said: “As we all know girls and women’s football is the fastest growing participation sport in the world and a big part of our team is motivating and empowering girls to take up the game, massively improve their mental health and empower them with a positive approach that will help them throughout their lives.  We’ve also recently had a player selected for Performance Academy Squad which is great achievement for the player, team and club. Their new jackets and sportsbags will make them feel that they belong to something special so thanks to Cameron Toll for making that happen.”

Claire Jefcoate added: “We already have a close link to Inch Park and various sporting teams that play there and when we received an application from the Jaguars to support them and to fund new jackets and sportsbags for the players we were very pleased to do so through our Community Fund.”
