Edinburgh Rays Baseball Club, a community-based baseball club in the south of Edinburgh, has received £200 from the Cameron Toll Community Fund to help purchase replacement and additional baseball equipment as the club continues to grow.

Founded in 2022, the club brings opportunities for sport, wellbeing and social connection to people across Gilmerton, Liberton, Prestonfield and surrounding areas.
Luke Rajczuk from Edinburgh Rays Baseball Club said: “We provide a welcoming environment where people of all ages can stay active, build confidence and develop new skills through baseball. As our club continues to grow and compete in the Scottish Baseball League, it’s important that we can provide free access to equipment so that cost is never a barrier to taking part. This funding from the Cameron Toll Community Fund will help us replace worn equipment and purchase additional kit to support our expanding membership and activities.”
Claire Jefcote, Centre Manager at Cameron Toll, said: “Edinburgh Rays Baseball Club is doing fantastic work to make sport accessible to everyone, creating opportunities for people of all ages to stay active, build confidence and connect with others in their community. We are delighted to support the club as it continues to grow, helping ensure that financial barriers do not prevent people from taking part. We wish everyone involved every success for the future.”
